'No waste- a Lettering/ Typography workshop'
A workshop by Manasi Shekhar Keni (Professor at Rachana Sansad College of Applied Art & Craft ) , Prof. Prakash Kharkar (Graphic Designer and Calligrapher)
Workshop Theme : This is going to be a Lettering / Typography workshop using collage. The objective of this workshop is to get computer free, interesting Typographic layouts. It is going to be a challenge to do a Typographic layout without using the computer. A Designer must know how to make use of existing opportunities and dig for more options when there are none according to the world. This exercise is going to inspire the participants to push their limitations. Also they will understand the visual hierarchy of the elements. They will also learn the art of finding beauty in things which are imperfect, and incomplete. Things which are modest and humble are beautiful. The participants would explore the possibility of collage for designing a Lettering/ Typographic poster. .

She has a keen interest in Typography and visualization. She believes in the power of youth, seeing, writing and reading.  And somehow relates everything to Typography.
